Pass Season: Vail Colorado Pass

Apr 05, 2007  ·  02:19 PM  ·  permalink

The snow is slushy, Lake Dillon is getting unsafe, and guys skiing in “wacky” Hawai’ian shirts dot A-Basin’s slopes. It can only mean one thing: time to buy next year’s season pass.

Vail Resort’s venerable Colorado Pass is currently available for $419 to those renewing their passes (others can purchase a new pass after May 13, 2007). But for another $100, you can get six out of your ten Vail/Beaver Creek days black-out free with their new offering: Colorado Pass Plus

For my money, the Colorado Pass is the best skiing value in the state—ten days at Vail alone make it worthwhile. Of course, the normal Colorado Pass comes with up to four tickets priced at $45, so upgrading to the Colorado Pass Plus only makes sense if you need more than a couple of unrestricted ski days at Vail.

More information on dates for purchasing new passes:

New Passholder can purchase in person at these retail locations.
